About

Yoga has been a part of my life for over 10 years. Yoga has helped me become flexible and stronger both physically and mentally. Having graduated from Quinnipiac University with my Masters degree in Social Work, I used yoga as a form of self care while in school. I have brainstormed ways to integrate components of yoga such as Mindfulness and Meditation into my Social Work practice.

I became a 200 hour certified yoga teacher through Lotus Gardens Yoga School in 2019. I obtained my Prenatal Yoga certification through Arhanta Yoga in 2021. I am currently working to be certified in Post Natal yoga,

 

My yoga teaching style is gentle and I aim to give others the tools to cope with daily stressors. I aim to help people to be compassionate with themselves; physically and mentally; both on and off the mat. I want my students to be able to walk out of class feeling rejuvenated and at peace with themselves.

 

When I am not practicing yoga, I work with children and adolescents in the court system. I hope to spread my love of yoga with the children and teens I work with, as well as others in the community, to help them to regulate their emotions. I also enjoy hiking, traveling, and spending time with my fiancé, yogi cat assistant, Sophie, as well as family and friends.
